(died 1654 Amsterdam)
after Jacob Backer
Etching, 26.3 x 21.3 cm (etching-plate)
Rijksmuseum Print Room, Amsterdam
Jacobus Lutma made an etching after the portrait of Geertruida Hasselaer. Next to his own name at the bottom on the left he also gave the name of the artist of the original: J. Backer pinx. As Lutma worked from the painting and then made prints from the etching-plate, the print is a mirror-image representation of the picture.
